Meet Your Instructor: Jeff Pearson
Retired Chief Jeff Pearson Satellite Beach Police Department Chief Jeff Pearson has served with the Satellite Beach Police Department since 1987 and has led the agency as Chief of Police since 2011. He oversees all department operations including patrol, investigations, administration, policy, and budgeting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Public Administration from Webster University. Chief Pearson is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session 224) and has served on the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission after being appointed by Governor Rick Scott. He also served as 1st Vice President of the Florida Police Chiefs Association. Chief Pearson is a respected presenter on municipal budgeting and leadership and is known for making complex budgeting topics practical and engaging for law enforcement professionals.
